This wonderful Flagstone Abstract Art piece was created by Maricopa Fine Arts.

This is the original art piece that started our Sapphire Series. Our Flagstone Abstract Art form began with California Wave. Experimenting with flagstone and color our artist discovered that no design could outdo Mother Nature and this new art form was born. Due to the sentimentality and provenience of the piece, it is priced to reflect its standing as the very first recorded piece of Flagstone Abstract Art as defined by the artist. Naturally shaped by Mother Nature this stone was taken from the quarry in the shape of the State of California, therefore its namesake.

California Wave measures 12 x 5 x 1/8 inches, weighs 0.5 pounds and displays colors in multiple shades of aqua. The flagstone was quarried in the state of Arizona and was hand selected by the artist for it's unique beauty and natural features. For interior display, this art piece can be displayed in a stand for shelf display or we encourage investing in professional framing for best viewing pleasure and protection from the elements.
